What we do
We buy, sell and trade clothes. If you’re looking to clean out your closet, we’ll take what no longer suits you. If you’re in need of a wardrobe upgrade, shop current trends, designer, and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces that complete your personal style.
Here's the facts
How it works
1. Head to your local Buffalo Exchange, and stop in at any time during our normal business hours – no appointment needed.
2. Don’t forget to bring a valid, government-issued ID like a driver’s license or passport (If you’re under 18, bring an adult with a valid ID).
.
3. If we’re able to buy your items, you’ll get paid without any wait – you’ll get 25% of our selling price in cash or 50% store credit. We’re happy to take a look at everything you have.
4. After you sell, your buyer will tell you your cash and trade options. Feel free to shop around before making a decision, then stop by the register on your way out. You can take any combination of cash and trade. Many customers like to use their store credit to buy an item they found that day and take the rest in cash. Others like to take a trade card to use on another day – it never expires.

Charity partners
For any clothing we’re unable to buy, nearly every Buffalo Exchange store partners with local non-profits. Since 1974:
We've donated over $2.2 Million to national and local charities supporting women, the arts, the environment, animals, social justice, and more.
We’ve given more than 5.5 million pieces of clothing a second life at our stores every year.
We’ve kept over 18,500,000 single-use plastic bags out of circulation through our Tokens for Bags(r) program.
